• Pharmaceutical transport.
An issue in the transport and storing of pharmaceuticals and blood is the temperature shape monitoring. Presently, this monitoring is done using chemical indicators, which give only rough information about maximum and minimum temperature. With RFID technology a chip is placed inside the case that can record the exact temperature shape. The reading is done across the box and, using a scanner, it is possible to control the temperature of the entire contents. |

• Patient monitoring.
Some pathologies require ongoing clinical monitoring. In this case the recording device must be very small. UHF/RFID semi-passive technology permits radio communication using a very small battery. In addition, use of UHF/RFID lessens the amount of time required of the radiation and medical staff. |
