CAEN adds Gen2 & simultaneous multi-protocol reading to EASY2READ® family UHF RFID readers

Good performances in terms of anticollision rates, write and read capabilities make this protocol one of the main candidates for becoming the most important UHF standard for the years to come and the new CAEN EASY2READ® family of UHF readers gives you the chance to quickly get in touch with the future.
All mandatory and optional commands have been implemented and tested in the field with labels produced by the main manufacturers housing Philips, Impinj and STMicroelectronics chips; inventory, read and write operations are available to the user through friendly libraries supporting the development of client applications in the most common programming languages.
Moreover since all the EASY2READ® readers share the same EPC C1G2 programmer interface you can easily adapt all your applications to any reader and select from time to time the device that best fits your needs without wasting time in software porting.
And if you don't intend yet to change the UHF standard you are working with, but you are curious about exploring the ultimate frontier of RFID, CAEN again comes to you with the multi-tag capability which allows to work in mixed standards tag environment. In this mode EASY2READ® readers are capable of simultaneously reading tags compliant to different air protocols (EPC C1G2, ISO18000-6B and UCODE EPC 1.19).
