| CAEN is developing a new technical solution for the HV/LV required by ALICE, ATLAS, CMS and LHC-B experiments. It will be also adaptable to all new INFN experiments using RPCs, such as MONOLITH. The 6 channel board Mod. A1526 (designed for the SY1527 system) provides p/n voltages up to 15 kV with common floating ground. The next step will be the development of "elementary bricks", designed for the SY1527 system as well, to provide HV/LV in magnetic field and radiation environment. Each "brick" will be constituted by a "controller" (to be inserted in the SY1527) and a "remote board" (to be placed in the magnetic field/radiation environment). |
