| CAEN has developed a new power supply system, commissioned by INFN Firenze, for the CMS Silicon Tracker: the EASY4000. Three power supply boards have been developed so far for this system: the
A4601,
A4602
and A4603. The A4601 features heterogeneous HV/LV "macrochannels" delivering floating output voltages to supply the strip detector modules and the related front-end electronics; the
A4602 houses floating LV channels for additional electronics supplying; the A4603 has an A4601-like architecture and is designed for supplying the pixel detector. All the LV channels are equipped with remote sensing lines which allow to guarantee the correct voltage on the load. |
