Aerospace is developing, in the framework of a European
Space Agency R&D contract, a Central Payload Power
Supply system conceived for Highly Integrated Payload
Suites on future interplanetary exploration missions where reduced
mass, size and power consumption are key factors. CPPS offers
a versatile system capable of reducing the engineering effort
to obtain a wide variety of secondary supply voltages. High
modularity, compact volume and reduced weight of CPPS allow
an easy adaptability to different space missions and mechanical
interfaces. The CPPS is already baselined for the future ESA
Bepi Colombo mission to Mercury. |
